Mira, do you whose birthday is today?? \(^o^)/
(Via mobile::::: no gif but insert here the one with super excited Otoya) YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS MASA'S BDAY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG ITS BEAUTIFUL TO SEE THE FANDOM MAKING STUFF FOR HIM, ISTG I'M SAVING POSTS TO REBLOG LATER THROUGH THE WEEKS JUST TO REMIND EVERYONE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL MAN
Lol most Asian countries are anti-black but they love to copy African Americans and sometimes they even do blackface. In this case they're cool and edgy. They love black culture but hate black people, okayyy. At the same time many black people are racist to Asians but when I see a black person who is a Weeaboo/Koreaboo with borderline yellowface, I really don't know what to say. Especially the ones who are, uh, "transracial" Lol I might be black but my soul is Japanese~~~
exactly! it’s irritating, especially since like you said, so many asian (and middle eastern for that matter) countries are very anti-black as well. and the whole “transracial” thing is so ridiculous, i’ve actually seen people on here who say things like “i may be white but i’m japanese on the inside”???? at first i thought it was funny to laugh at, but it just makes me feel so disappointed in the world >.> weeaboos and koreaboos (the real kind, since some people who just like anime call themselves weeaboos as a joke) in general are just a very dangerous form of glorification and appropriation, especially when they fetishize and harass east asian people.
redthreadoflove replied to your post:Cultural appropriation is so nasty ugghhh
Yeah, many POC appropriate foreign cultures, it’s irritating since they should know how it feels like when their own culture is appropriated :/
YES YES YES! people tend to ignore the fact that even some POC appropriate other cultures too! i feel like that’s especially sad, because like you mentioned, as minorities they should know how it feels too. i’ve personally met fellow POC who like to appropriate and glorify (the bad kind of glorification, where they ignore the other party’s thoughts and issues) other cultures/races like black and japanese, and i really hate it :/
Cultural appropriation is so nasty ugghhh
it definitely is :/ it’s bad enough already, but halloween costumes are so blatantly racist and people don’t even seem to understand that, which is pretty disturbing if you ask me.
Hey, Mira! \(^o^)/ How are you? I personally don't think that Haruka will end up with someone in the anime. I feel the anime favors Tokiya, Otoya and Reiji they're connected as a trio. Tokiya and Otoya have always been privileged and Reiji too, being their senior. There always had been a hierarchy between Utapri characters. Tokiya & Otoya > everbody else. But will Haru end up with anyone? I don't think so. We might get fanservice but in end we'll decide Haru's bf by playing the games ;)
I entirely agree with you. As I said before, we might get some hints, but I keep wondering who'll get closer. Reiji was ALMOST THERE but then he said it was a joke and stuff (it wasn't, come on Reiji).I feel like the trio with most attention of the producers is indeed the Natural Team. The least is the Kawaii Team (Nat, Syo & Ai). They have serious struggles, and while it could be used to connect them with the female protagonist, they rather use it to improve the relationship among themselves (Ai's episode was more of a Team episode than anything, he and Haruka talked for like, 2 minutes). They are trying really hard recently to show how much in love Masato is (seems hella one-sided, poor baby), but they don't show any interest in making HER feel something, blush w/ him and stuff. As the wise Suzuken once said, Masato is a huge masochist. And I always have to repeat it a hundred times when ppl complain about something not being featured here or there: their focus is the gaming audience. They want to please THEM, that's their main audience in Japan (which means main source of profit), so they will always try to make people more interested about the charas/stories, and then making us play to know more and choose our guy. I actually like the way the anime flows, they have a singular universe and plot that favors most of charas at the same time, even if they can't work with it fully (here is where the games are useful). So I actually am not bothered by the lack of romance or stuff bc the idol thing, the friendship it's the main point there, and after seeing so much fight of the charas over silly stuff, I'm happy to see them as friends, I really am.
Today I reached 2k followers! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧
When I started doing this blog I honestly didn’t think I’d reach many people. Especially since I don’t have much to offer. So this makes me really happy when there are people who like my posts. Thank you so, so much!!
For this FF I chose Suzume from Hirunaka no Ryuusei because I always fall in love with Yamamori-sensei’s art. I’ve been into her newest work as well!
