Okay, you know this dialogue; it's from chapter 6 of The Cursed Tree , when finally Diane confronts King about his behaviour.
She snorted, “You weren’t able to do anything before, why this time should be different? Why can’t you just accept Merlin’s help?”
“Because,” he snapped, “I don’t trust her! I won’t let her enter the Fairy Realm!”
“I thought you trusted your friends!” Diane growled, shaking her head, “You have to let us help you!”
“You can’t force me to let her in!”
Diane fell silent, holding his stare, eyes still glowing for rage. “I thought,” she shot, “that you’d learn not to do everything on your own. What’s next, you’ll take my memories away again so that you won’t have to bother with me?”
I just like this scene, it's important for the story and it wasn't easy to write (King and Diane fighting? A very interesting concept but it was hard), and when I've finally got something I was satisfied with I was so relieved! And I'm still pretty much happy with it!

In every DVD/BD volume there are four cards so yes, I own 28 so far and there will be 8 more. So far there are all Sins, all Commandments, Arthur, Cath, Elizabeth, Hawk, Gilthunder, Griamore, Howzer, Hendrickson, Slader, Matrona... and now the three Transporks. I hope there will be a few more Power Levels we didn’t know yet.
I think the Delpad ship could be cute, but there's something that intrigues me: The father of the kids. If I am not wrong, the father's identity has been always a mistery for viewers/readers, but even so, is not supposed that Della is married or in love with him before she dessapeared? I'm asking from my ignorance since I don't know the whole story of Della in the old comics. Maybe she's a single mom and I don't know it yet. Sorry if this ask bothers you, I just want to know more about the dad
(sorry, replying to your ask took me far to long; but please know that you didn’t bother me at all :))
You are right, the identity of HDL’sfather has always remained a mystery. Unlike Della, whose name and whereabouts are known, the father never appeared in a story, him staying unnamed and his fate unknown; we just know for sure that he was… well, HDL’s father and Della Duck’s lover/husband. On Don Rosa’s famous family tree of the McDuck/Duck clan, HDL’s father was also included, but just as “??? Duck” with his face being obscured by a passing bird. (Interestingly, Don Rosa suggested HDL’s father being Daisy Duck’s father)
Actually, there is only one Dutch Duck comic (as far as I know) where we see Della as an adult (she made cameo appearances as a kid in Don Rosa’s comics) and get an explanation why she left and where she is now. Said comic was published to celebrate Donald’s 80th birthday, and introduces Della as an ambitious pilot and astronaut (that’s why she’s a pilot in the DT reboot), who had to go on a mission into space (and never returned); that’s why we see her occasionally waltzing into her twin brother Donald’s life to leave her baby sons in his care; which very much suggests her being a single mom because 1) the father is not being mentioned and nowhere to be seen in this story and 2) if he were around, wouldn’t she have left HDL in their father’s care? Whether it’s because Della is a widow or got divorced, or her never have been married to “???” Duck at all, HDL’s father doesn’t seem to be a part of her and the triplet’s life anymore, she apparently raised them alone before she left.
(So… us Delpad shippers could totally imagine Della returning in the series, and, being a single mom, falling in love and starting a relationship with a certain other pilot… ;))

Donatello’s Many Sides
I’ve spent a lot of time analyzing the facial expressions of the different turtles, but ESPECIALLY Donatello. I saw such a juxtaposition between the different states of mind he can have. And this is primarily captured through the widely different ways his huge eyes are shaped for expression. So I was determined to capture exactly what juxtaposition I saw and lay it out so the rest of the world might be able to see it.
I have a habit of screenshotting thousands and thousands of photos on my phone, which often leaves me with no memory left because of ten thousand photos I’ve saved with only fifty of those photos being ones I took with the camera app of the real world. However, thankfully this meant I had hundreds of already taken screenshots of Donatello’s many emotions I wanted to capture in a single frame. After a couple hours of combing through them meticulously, and adding and re-adding photos to specific groups, I was able to narrow down Donatello’s most fascinating and contrasting sides of his personality to four.
Top left is Donatello’s happy, adorable side. He is cheerful, wide eyed, and hopeful. He’s having fun. The sweet little gap in his teeth helps to seal the deal.
Top right is Donatello’s innocent, almost creature-like side. He is like a kitten watching you with curious, sweet eyes. He has an almost unawareness to himself.
Bottom left is Donatello’s innocent, sad side. He is like a small creature or child that is so untouched by the world but is seeing a sadder, darker side of it for the first time.
Bottom right is Donateelo’s bad a** determination side. He is invincible, and an almost darkness grips him and his eyes as he battles a foe for the sake of his loved ones. Don’t mess with this guy, because whatever it takes he’s going to get the job done. He is doing what in filmmaking is called a “Kubrick Stare,” where the person in question looks forward and down with their eyebrows furrowed. It captures a darkness inside the person that is now only escaping. He’s gone to the dark side, and we love it!
It’s fascinating to see these widely different sides of Donatello, which really shows what a fleshed out and developed character he really is. It makes me wonder though, what’s really going on inside Donatello?
Hi! How are you? :) That scene of April and Casey in "Serpent Hunt" ( I think it was that episode) ... it really confuses me a lot (and I think I was not the only one confused in that time). I mean, why did they feel awkward to each other? It's not like it was the first time they look each other's eyes. Maybe that scene was only added by the writers only to keep the love triangle alive, but I always had the feeling that something happened between them in the farmhouse.

I doubt that something would have happened offscreen, unless the writers are that lazy.
The full context of the scene has April commenting how their temporary hideout is a little cramped/cozy, and it’s right after that comment that she and Casey catch a look at each other in the eye and quickly look away. April’s little sneaky sideways glance, lip bite, and following smile (side note it’s a smile that would melt anyone’s heart regardless) seems to imply she now doesn’t mind her comment about it being cramped?? I think??? because usually this kind of moment after commenting about little space implies romantic intention.
Honestly tho, Reddy, I don’t think the writers know what they’re doing with the love triangle. Like in Season 2 they seemed to be leaning towards Capril - them being flirty with each other or April shooting a sly comeback at Casey’s flirts while not quite rejecting them all the time - with Donnie possibly having to follow through on that lesson-of-the-day in Mutagen Man Unleashed: “Today I am going to teach you to love falling down.” But then we had Season 3, which from Within the Woods implies April is distancing herself a little from Casey due to the events of Invasion and the effect it had on her.
This was followed by an episode in which she kisses Donnie full on the mouth that never gets mentioned again. The context for this scene? Donnie might be working towards that life lesson, but approaching it in the wrong way: “She won’t return my feelings because I’m a mutant” and not “She may not return my feelings because she’s her own person and might not feel the same way about me”. Rather than make an attempt at closure and maturity, though, the writers pull that kiss. Like. What? And then they act like it never happens again, because in the episode IMMEDIATELY afterwards we have Donnie trying to show off but April acting oblivious to it like in Season 1 when she ignored Donnie’s show offs/hints at a crush.
The writing is as confused as you are, Reddy, believe me. There isn’t much focus for the MAIN plot, never mind any romantic-or-otherwise subplots. It hasn’t helped that Nickelodeon has a toy demand to satisfy for Playmates. Nor has it helped that the show keeps getting delays and hiatuses and all sorts, starting from Season 4. We had a delay there because, supposedly, they were originally given LESS episodes for the season, but then they got six more after a fight, and since then the show hasn’t had anything to say of a regular airing schedule. Rather than have a season air a new episode every week for a few months, we had a whole season stretched out to air over the course of a year, year and a half, and if we got any sneak peaks at cons they were still in storyboards!
I have no freaking clue which pairing will be canon, because it feels like the writers are trying so hard to keep audiences outside of their target demographic invested by, for example, dropping hints of ships without any clear answer as to WHO they want to make canon. It’s a shame because, shipping drama aside, I ENJOY the characters and the setting, but i haven’t been enjoying the plot.
Sorry I went off-track there. tl;dr the Black Hole Generator was a good guy the whole time and was trying to save the audience from a tired love triangle subplot and poor ship development
