The Stop Adani protest group said the rebrand would not change Adani Australia's legacy. In a statement, Mackay Conservation Group coordinator Peter McCallum said people would not be fooled. "They can't scrub away Adani's track record of breaking Queensland laws, endangering the reef, destroying black-throated finch habitat, and intimidating the community," Mr McCallum said. "Dirt like that sticks."
