Last Day Reflections~
Ahhh happy last day of December and of the year 2017! May we plant new roots, water them with kindness and love, and watch them grow! How exciting! Today, take time to reflect on 2017-your accomplishments, your growth, your mood, your thoughts, your failures, and your old resolutions that you made. Did you accomplish them? Maybe a little, maybe a lot, maybe not! Either way thats fine :) 2017 for me was a whirlwind of wonderfulness. It was a year of ups and downs, mostly ups though. It was a great year for me, and I’m SO excited to start fresh again and welcome the new year. 2017 was a year of pure happiness for me. I really truly woke up happy almost everyday, and nourished my body with positive thoughts. I cannot wait to continue this into the new year. If your 2017 wasn’t so good, what can you do to make 2018 better? We all have things that we can work on to improve ourselves, and our lives. I really dedicated 2017 to feeling good, about myself and my thoughts...and it worked! I began the year eating and drinking a little too much--nothing bad, but I recognized that I had the potential to change that mid January. I also got a wake up call from agency, they told me I gained weight. So instead of dragging my feet, feeling bad for myself, and rolling into a depression, I motivated myself to lose weight, feel good, do good, and enjoy life. I did just that! I’m so happy with my results and the steps I have taken. I can’t wait to continue on with my health and fitness journey this 2018. I am motivated! Reflecting on 2017: I traveled to my favorite place, Costa Rica, twice, ended my freshman spring semester on a high note (I felt super proud that I accomplished my first year of college), workout almost everyday, had good opportunities in my modeling career (which I hope to keep pursuing), ate very clean and healthy, made a ton of amazing new friends and kept in touch with the old ones, lived my first full year in NYC, learned to stick up for myself, enjoyed an amazing summer at the beach, became patient and learned about the wonder and discovery of the little kids I babysat, went to a super fun Eagles/stevie nicks concert with my family (I will cherish those memories forever), started my sophomore fall semester super excited and happy, enjoyed all my classes, woke up excited to greet the day (rain or shine), enjoyed my meal with family at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and genuinely felt excited and happy about life. So yes, 2017 was a positive year for me, and I cannot wait to continue on into 2018! Remember ~ write all your resolutions and intentions for the new year and add some of them to your January intentions! I can’t wait to share mine with you tomorrow! May your last day of 2017 be magical, happy, spiritual, and full of love. :) namaste!
