Something I'm learning to do when I write is to use dialogue as my framework. Meaning, dialogue is the easy part of writing for me, so I use it to get my idea down. Then I go back through and add all the other bits like dialogue tags and inner thoughts.

I've always done this to an extent but now I'm leaning into it. Rather than getting hung up on not knowing what to add for inner thoughts and the like, I'm getting down what I do know, and trusting the rest will come to me later on.
