Hey, everyone. I stopped posting fundraisers many years ago after finding out most of them were scams.
Milo’s Sanctuary is the real deal. They do amazing work and save the most challenged special needs kitties at their sanctuary in Palmdale, California.
They are at risk of closing down unless they get immediate funding.
Please consider donating a few dollars to this wonderful organization and their permanent residents. Some of them need round the clock care.

Milo's Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded on the belief that all cats deserve a second chance at life, especially those that have physical disabilities, are seniors, have a terminal illness, or have been abused and need someone to care for, love, and understand them.
Tales of the Caravan is a non-profit, community-driven storytelling project hosted on YouTube. It’s a fantasy world shaped by collaboration, where contributors bring characters to life through voice, video, writing, and performance. Every role is flexible, every contribution is voluntary, and above all—no one is ever asked to step outside their comfort zone.
This project is about choice. You decide who you want to be, how much you want to contribute, and how you want your character’s story to unfold.
The Caravan offers a wide range of archetypes, each open to interpretation. Here are just ten of the many possibilities:
01: Adventurers
Wanderers, explorers, mercenaries, or seekers of lost truths. Adventurers embody courage and curiosity. Your character might be a seasoned warrior carrying old scars, a runaway searching for freedom, or a mapmaker charting forgotten paths. They carry the spirit of discovery into every scene.
The makers and dreamers. The blacksmiths, jewelers, inventors, and tailors. Artisans keep culture alive through craft. They might be eccentric inventors tinkering with clockwork, glassblowers who turn memory into art, or quiet tailors stitching symbolism into every seam.
In this world, belly dancers are not ornamental. They are storytellers, diplomats, and keepers of memory. Dance may serve as ritual, resistance, coded communication, or simple presence. A dancer may never move at all, instead carrying their art in posture, voice, or silence. Every interpretation is valid, and performance is always optional.
The unsung heroes. Builders, caretakers, cooks, costumers, healers, makeup artists, stage hands, tavern workers, and everyone else who keep the Caravan alive. They may be medics tending wounds, cooks who carry tradition in recipes, or builders raising tents under moonlight and many more. Often overlooked, these roles embody resilience and quiet strength.
Guards, city watch, scouts, and peacekeepers. Some stand as symbols of justice, others navigate corruption and compromise. A lawkeeper could be an honour-bound sentinel, a mercenary-for-hire, or even a watchman torn between loyalty and survival.
Practitioners of arcane knowledge. Healers, alchemists, or ritualists. They draw on inherited traditions or lost lineages, balancing theory with practice. Your mage might be a philosopher, a reluctant sorcerer, or a healer who reads illness in a heartbeat.
Dealers of goods and secrets. Some are honest traders, others peddle contraband or artifacts better left untouched. A merchant might be a silver-tongued opportunist, a weary spice-seller, or a relic-keeper with stories behind every item.
Figures of influence. Lords, ladies, patrons, or exiles. Nobles shape the Caravan’s fate through sponsorship, ambition, or hidden agendas. A noble could be a generous patron, a manipulative rival, or an exile traveling incognito.
The poets, jesters, magicians, and fire-eaters. Some dazzle openly, others hide secrets behind stagecraft. This role invites whimsy, mystery, and artistry. Whether your character is a comic relief figure, a conjurer with ulterior motives, or a musician whose songs unsettle as much as they inspire.
10: Rogues, Spies, Assassins and Syndicate Members
The shadows of the Caravan. Pickpockets, smugglers, assassins, and informants. Some operate alone, others serve the Maximite Guild or Shadow Court. A rogue might be a trickster with a smile, a spy who blends into noble courts, or an assassin bound by a personal code.
Voluntary & Flexible – All roles are optional, all performances are self-directed, and no deadlines apply.
Remote & Accessible – Everything is submitted digitally. No travel, no pressure.
Creative Freedom – You choose your role, your style, and your format (voice-only, video, or both).
Respect & Inclusion – Every role is open to all genders and identities. Comfort and safety always come first.
At its heart, Tales of the Caravan is about storytelling as an act of art, resilience, and connection—not about imposing expectations. Every character, whether noble, rogue, artisan, or dancer, adds a thread to the larger tapestry.
The Caravan welcomes all who wish to tell a story.

Hey, y'all, Darebee, which does those amazing single-page exercise routines that used to be all over tumblr is really struggling to make funding goals again. They are a non-profit trying to make exercise accessible to everyone, and if you have a couple of bucks you could give them to help them out, that'd be awesome.
In fact, here's the first one I ever saved from tumblr (they don't have this exact one anymore, but they have several options for pre-sleep stretching:
In fact, here's a link to all the pre-sleep stuff they DO have! And that's literally just the start.
I think what they're doing to encourage people of all physical levels to move their bodies in whatever ways are comfortable is super important, and it was a resource tumblr loved before, so hoping for everyone to go, "Oh! I love them!" and maybe toss them a buck or two.
put it anywhere you want between seasons 10, 11, or 12—. Sometimes i think i'm funny.
sam and dean have been in the middle of a case for days, stuck on all-night watch in the Impala while keeping an eye out for the potential monster of the week. They're drinking soda and eating snacks. They have to stay up all night, and as soon as they get bored, they fall asleep, so they have to get creative.
sam: okay, how about truth or dare?
dean immediately shakes his head: i can't believe it, is this a sleepover?
sam tilts his head and shrugs, his lips pursed as usual: i can't think of anything else, dean. Twenty questions again?
dean: we've already played that the last few hours, sam, but i'm not playing truth or dare. That's a girl thing at sleepovers, and when i watch those movies, im usually alone.
sam laughs, shaking his head and putting a hand to his temple.
dean: you'd better come up with something, and i swear if you say "i see with my own eyes..."
sam: okay, okay. How about this? i remember it from college: fuck, marry, kill.
dean: excuse me?
sam: it's a game, dean. You have three options and three candidates. You have to—
dean: i know what it's about, sammy. I think it's kind of dumb. Well, you know what? forget it, just do it.
sam: fuck, marry or kill... uh, to crowley, cas, and me.
dean looks at sam with raised eyebrows, and Sam shrugs with an innocent smile.
dean: hmm.
sam: are you thinking about it? are you serious?
dean: what? can't i think about it?
sam: you have crowley among the options, dean.
dean: i mean... i don't know, it's crowley. Do i have to kill him?
sam looks at him suspiciously.
dean: okay, fine, i know. Fuck with cas, marry... you, and kill crowley.
there's a silence, and sam nods, as if that were the right answer.
sam drums his fingers on his knee anxiously: ...
sam: why would you fuck with cas?
dean: what are you talking about? those are the options, sammy.
sam: hey, its okay, i'm not judging you, i was just wondering why you chose to fuck with cas. What made you choose cas?
dean takes a deep breath: well, i changed my mind. Let you fuck me, marry with cas and i kill crowley. What do you think?
sam nods again, his lips pressed together in a silence that could signify a peace agreement.
but it doesn't.
sam: ...
sam: why are you deciding to marry cas now? is there something you want to tell me, dean? you want to fuck with him first and then get married. If i hadn't interfered, would you have chosen crowley?
dean: what the hell are you talking about? he's cas, he's OUR friend. Why would i kill him?
sam: i'm just having a conversation.
dean: i thought i just had to choose, not justify my answers.
sam: why not? it's supposed to be fun, so—
dean: forget it, sam. I prefer truth or dare. I prefer the fucking sleepover.
sam: fine, truth or dare, dean?
dean: truth.
sam: why did you decide to marry cas?
dean: damn it.
If you care about animals, please consider showing your support to my friends at Heartwood Haven.
The Hearts and Hooves Auction is an annual event where you can bid on art, collectibles, and gifts from PNW local and international artisans. This year's event is particularly special as we’re asking you to help us take on one of the most important projects in the sanctuary’s history.
Heartwood Haven’s current medical barn — a structure that is more than 100 years old — is no longer safe for the animals who depend on it. Time, weather, and years of wear have left it worse for wear, and we urgently need to replace it with a new medical barn designed to provide proper care, treatment, recovery, and shelter for rescued animals in need.
The new medical barn will mean safer surgeries, better rehabilitation spaces, emergency treatment areas, and a secure place for vulnerable animals to heal with dignity and comfort. It will become the heart of lifesaving care at the sanctuary for years to come. Every bid placed in this auction helps build that future.
Not interested in the auction? Then also consider just donating if you have the means and would like to support this amazing sanctuary that's home to over 100 rescued animals.
Having done museum shit in the side for most of your life while you tried to make a career happen, starting every story with shit like "so when I was sailing a recreation of a 1634 tallship" and "when I was adding porcupine pee as enrichment to the bobcat enclosure" but definitely never ending with "and they paid me enough money to make rent"
Almost got this car from the Garden Grove Hyundai. I thought it was the perfect comany car for the new non profit org we're setting up... A used 2023 Chevy Malibu with 42k miles. I was trading it in with my 2018 Santa Fe Sport 2.0 with 64k miles.
Michael at Garden Grove Hyundai really did his best to get the payments down to $311.77 per month for 6 years. But unfornately I'm having some major problems with the title or pink slip being transferred... Cali laws seem different.
Anyway Michael thank you so much for your effort and patience and everything. Thank you for being here!
