how do u choose your colors/whats your process for picking them??? like genuinely ur colors are so. they make me feel so nice. sorry if you've been asked before im super curious

anon this took a long time since i have no idea how to explain my thinking process when picking colors. so have my notes on my process! :D

you’ll see that i referred to brushes as overlay or add brush, that’s because i use these brushes where i changed their blend mode

If you don't mind me asking, what brushes do you use?

i use this brush for lineart, this brushset has a really cool smudge brush that i use a lot and out these, i use copic(smooth) brushes for coloring but i have a ton of duplicates with each of em having one difference in setting which is this:

all of the brushes are free btw
