Of all the challenges facing the more than 21 million children worldwide who are refugees, perhaps the most daunting is the lack of access to education and thus hope for the future. Working in Kenya's Kakuma refugee camp, TC faculty member Mary Mendenhall and her current and former students have created a program that is enabling teachers to teach more effectively and reach more students.
