To say that Camilla wasn't expecting waking up, having her own creature, and now somehow apart of a team to create a dish for other spiramonsters was a pretty reasonable train of thought. Somehow it didn't seem like they enjoyed the food that many would, resulting in the situation that both Camilla and her partner had found themselves in.

"Ryne right? There aren't beings like this where you are from right? Or well...any ideas for meals that we could maybe make for them."

there was already a warm feeling residing in her chest, going on a day out with ryne like this. when she brought up the idea to thancred, he urged her to go through with it. after all, it would give them more time to bond, and ryne was also moving in with them soon. now here they were, at mermaid cove mall— making a stop at one (of what lyra hopes would be many) clothing stores.

❝ perhaps we might buy some sleepwear for you too, and some warm clothes for the autumn... ❞ she thinks aloud, fingers going through some hangers on a rack. her eyes look over her shoulder to glance at the oracle. ❝ is there anything you would like to try on? you're free to choose anything you'd like. ❞

♛ Gaia would have said it was surprising that Ryne had zeroed in on her presence in the city as quickly as she had but she would have been lying to herself. Still, the comfort of knowing that the most important person to her was in the city was a relief. Gaia didn't have people she thought of like parents or anything and she was okay with that. Ryne was enough.

"Maze By Pixie Light? So this is what you picked, is it?" Apparently a festival had been going on in this strange place and despite having freshly arrived, Ryne seemed intent on taking Gaia to an event. She'd let her choose and it was a surprise up until they had arrived. "Lame. Isn't this an event aimed at couples? I looked at the description."

The girl's cheeks were flushed pink though, eyes looking off to the side. "But it's very you, I must admit. Did you miss me that much that you wanted to do something romantic right away? I'm hardly good at this kind of thing. I've warned you."

"You can pet him, if you'd like. He doesn't bite."

Well... alright, that's a bit of a lie. Torgal bites, a lot. Not just with enemies but he does sometimes nibble on Clive to show how much he loves his master ( some of those scratches aren't from enemies, funnily enough ). Thankfully, though, Torgal doesn't bite nice looking girls who clearly want to pet the overgrown dog.

Clive kneels down in front of the girl, a soft smile on his face. Torgal sits next to him, his tail thumping up and down at the prospect of possibly getting pets ( and maybe treats, but that's for clive to decide. which means, yes, he will be getting treats ).

"His name is Torgal." His voice is gentle, soft. Clive is fairly awkward with adolescents, only because children seem to see right through your mask very well ( and because they're very energetic; clive is not so ), but his big brother-like instincts seem to kick in, as always. "He has a particular favorite spot to scratch, under his chin. He tends to melt when people scratch it."
