Today's math class
Me: "I'm going to come around and collect your homework. we're going to trade, you give me the homework and I'll give you your entrance ticket." New girl: "I wasn't here when you gave the homework so I figured I didn't have to do it" Me: "that is never the case and that was explained last week... speaking of where is last week's homework assignment?" New girl: "I was out the day it was due, I figured I didn't have to do it" Me: "we talked about this. That is not how homework works. If you don't hand them in I will have to give you two zeros" New girl: ..... "hilary.... Hilary... Hilary... HILARY... HILARY" Can someone please explain to me how chanting for Hilary Clinton is the response to being told you will get a zero if you don't hand in your homework.
