July 8, 1800 | Sage Boat (The boat of Chaos) | @baronwillliam
Hugh had missed the sun. Plain and simple. After years of travelling in countries where the sun was always out, coming back to England where the sun seemed to hide had been a stark change. The boat was full, his cousin was there, and he was most definitely too sober to deal with everything and everyone.
He hummed happily as he basked in the warmth of the sun. Deciding he should perhaps become part of the party, Hugh opened his eyes, only for his gaze to land on another gentleman pouring something from a flask into some lemonade.
Intriguing.
Hugh made his way towards the other gentleman, careful of the others aboard and sat right next to him. “This really is a wonderful day for such a venture, don’t you think?”
