Elias was always so surprised whenever he came to one of Jovi's photoshoots. It was still so surreal to have a friend get paid to have their face looked at by millions. Elias was a fan of it himself, but he did also enjoy the company as well. Sometimes he found himself wondering what the other saw in him. Elias felt too obnoxious, too loud, too reckless to be anyone's friend. When he was a teenager he was used to people finding him completely overwhelming and getting burnt out. He had only a few high school friends and now he was in college and hoping to keep those close to him. And Jovi was at the top of that list.
He felt so out of place at the set, dressed up in his ripped up jeans, oversized black tshirt, ratty backpack and an iced coffee in each hand. Jovi was working hard and Elias raised a hand to silently announce himself before bumping into a table and earning a few glares. He nodded in apology, knowing better than to speak during the photoshoot. His cheeks were flushed and he hoped his friend didn't see any of that. With a small sigh, he went over to the back of the room to sit down on the floor against the wall. He set the coffee he got for Jovi beside him but decided he couldn't wait any longer to drink his own. It took several moments to get comfortable where he sat, drawing his knees to his chest and trying not to make it obvious he was looking over at his friend by messing with his phone. After a few minutes, he truly was engrossed with one of the gaming apps and he was quick to lose track of time, only breaking his concentration when he heard footsteps approaching. He brushed his bangs from his forehead and offered the man a smile from where he sat on the ground. "How was work, pretty boy?"
