Reposted from @historyofblackphotographers - Photographer Reginald Wickham (1931-2015) born in Harlem, NY. Wickham was a commercial and abstract photographer. He began taking pictures at age 11 when his father, who was the photographer in the family, was unable to shoot a friend's birthday party in Queens and he filled in. Wickham, was an Air Force photographer for four years. Wickham has worked with everyone from musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie, whom he did several album covers for, Johnny Cash, Peter Nero, Les Brown and seemingly everyone in between.
