Any broad overarching mental heath advice or coping method/attitude shaming that doesn't work from a risk management and rock bottom standpoint is not helping all mentally ill people. This is not negotiable.

There is no more addictive high than leaving a long comment with quotes in it on a fanfic and very clearly making the writer happy.
Glasses tips for people who have just started wearing glasses/writers who want to write people with glasses:
Drastic temperature changes, going into a warm house after being in a cold outside environment, for example, WILL fog your glasses
Eventually you will need to cut through the grease buildup on your glasses and need to use the glasses spray stuff. It usually comes with the glasses. Ideally you use it at least once a day and clean it with the microfiber cloth it comes with(or any other screen-safe cloth) Only to prevent scratches. A lot of people dont, however- and use breath and a sleeve. Just. Dont use scratchy cloth. Please. Prolong the life of your glasses.
Nearsighted people will have a slightly easier time seeing past stuff on the lens than farsighted people, on average, due to the way farsighted lenses work. Reading Gasses are for farsighted people.
If you have transitions they dont auto-transition. It takes a moment both ways. It is hard to see until then.
Sunglasses over regular glasses sucks unless they are made for that. Clipons are alright, transitions are good, and prescription sunglasses are the best. The price is roughly in that order.
If you dont have polarized lenses (pricey but very worth it if you can get them), sunglare can be a legitimate hazard, especially when backlit.
The pushing up the glasses thing becomes an automatic motion eventually. Even when you arent wearing them.
Consider getting a glasses leash if you take your glasses off a lot or you do a lot of moving around- especially if you are over large bodies of water and other such hazards.
Check to make sure the screws are tight on your glasses every so often, you dont want a lens popping out.
If you get mud or dirt on your glasses, submerge in water and swish around a little. Rubbing grains of sand against your lenses as you would when you clean it the normal way WILL damage them.
I cant believe that Konohana exists because Madara was too gay to skip rocks properly
