Her brother’s wedding had been a happy occasion for all involved, and there was a piece of her glad that he would have less time to devote to worrying over her now. “This is a wonderful celebration, is it not?”

Isira’s Attire for the Wedding

Isira wore her simplest gown, but it was still clear from her appearance who she was. Her husband joined her in the celebrations in a matching coat.

Genevieve’s Wedding Ensemble

Gen’s mother spared no expense. Her gown was carefully designed and was years in the making, with hundreds of embroidered flowers on the skirt and bodice. Her hair is adorned with jewels (how else was she supposed to present herself as befitting to rule a kingdom?) and she wears a blue sapphire broach from her mother.

The Wedding

The palace is filled with music and laughter. While the past two weeks were stressful for everyone trying to rescue the ladies who were kidnapped, this week is sure to be nothing but joyous! Lord Reuben Alistair and Lady Genevieve Everette will soon be joined as Lord and Lady Alistair and have invited everyone who is staying at the palace to join in their celebrations. A large feast of food and wine, music and dancing are just a few of the things to entertain everyone. 

Note: This is a dashboard event! It will last until August 7 at midnight CST. As everyone has been invited to celebrate, we expect to see at least one thread on each character relating to the wedding, but you are encouraged to have as many as you would like! Event 002 

The Dowager Countess of House Everette and the Duke of House Alistair wish to invite you to celebrate the union of their children. There will be a private ceremony followed by a public feast, where you will be free to visit with the bride and groom and give your well-wishes.

Though he typically prefers more comfortable things, Reuben always dresses as is befitting of his station at events such as these; he knows that his father would not have it any other way. However, he always tries to at least match Genevieve in some way, even if it's something so small as the trim on his jacket, so that anyone unaware of their engagement will quickly know that she is his and he is hers.

While Aphria may not put as much emphasis on being a mermaid in her private life, she loves to sneak it into her public life as often as possible in the forms of flowing clothing that reminds her of the sea or pearl accessories in her hair. It makes her laugh knowing that only her most trusted friends and family know just how much meaning can be placed in a few simple accessories.
