Does anyone else find it difficult to tell what their little age is because it’s hard to separate it from their intelligence?
Like … I’m 90% sure I regress younger than I think I do, but I only think I’m older because I don’t find much challenge in materials or cartoons made for babies and toddlers. Even when I’m little, I know my ABCs, and my numbers, and my colors, and I get bored. I prefer stuff from the second to fourth grade levels, where I actually have to do some problem solving.
I play with toys with small pieces because I know I won’t choke on them, I color in the lines, I practice basic kitchen safety, and I try not to spill things or make huge messes.
What DOES change is my emotional sensitivity, my stress levels, and the level of enjoyment I get out of whatever activity I’m doing. I feel like a little girl, but I “perform” like an older one.
Do you guys find that your intellect matches that of the age you regress to, or is it only your sensitivity/enjoyment that changes?
