Apparating to a quiet alleyway near her old flat, Lucinda walked the few blocks through muggle London until she reached the planetarium, her heart pounding a bit too heavily for her liking as she made sure to pay attention to her surroundings. Quite sure that this was where she would find her husband, she prayed she was right as she bought herself a ticket and stepped inside, walking around until she spotted him sequestered from the small groups of muggles loitering here and there. Breathing a sigh of relief, she stepped closer. “Hey.”

Hearing a loud thump in the middle of the night, Lucinda woke up with a start, feeling over to Regulus side of the bed. When she realized he wasn’t there she sat up properly, frowning when she realized that the noise was coming from their bathroom. “Reg?” She called, getting up from the bed to make her way over to the en suite, brow furrowing as she found it in disarray and her husband searching underneath the sink. “What are you doing?”

Up early as she was used to, Lucinda watched as the light began to peak through the curtains of their bedroom. Her cheek pressed to Regulus’s shoulder, she traced little idle patterns on his skin, just wanting to enjoy the moment while it lasted.

Kissing the twins goodnight, Lucinda quietly closed the door behind her before she headed back downstairs. Needing to talk to Regulus, she found him in the living room, and sat down with a sigh. “They’re down for the night, I think.”
