One of his favorite things to listen to is how people, well mostly thieves, complain about how hard it is to sneak into places. Banks, palaces and mansions are usually what they complain about the most. It always gives him a little giggle and makes him thankful for magic.
However, this was not a case of a thieving expedition, this was a 'were did that stupid cat go, doesn't he realize he can't go into strange houses' kind of expedition. It was easy enough to get in, invisibility does help with that. However he can't get the cat to come to him if he's invisible. There was reason enough to be careful, he'd be in serious trouble if he was caught, but he's not leaving without the cat.
"Here kitty, kitty, kitty, where are you, Marius?" He was whispering as loud as he could without getting caught. "Don't get me in trouble you silly cat."
