Cami took a deep breath before she stood up and headed to the door. She had spent the last few days relaxing (recharging) and now she was ready to begin again.

This was one hell of a case though.

She opened the door, bracing herself from his overwhelming personality. "Mr. Morningstar! It's nice to see you."

This is certainly new.

Never has he encountered a member of mortal law enforcement that has actually managed to witness him committing one of his frequent killings.

Let alone catch him.

But the issue is, this tall, dark, and handsome stranger is no mortal. The weight of the stranger's overbearing presence is enough to distract the Nightmare enough to allow Lucifer to slap a pair of cuffs around his wrists.

A dumbfounded expression glances between the cuffs around his wrists and the one who put them there.

Standing amongst the mess he's made within this small motel room, his most recent, eyeless victim is bleeding out onto the bedsheets. The Dreamkin has no idea how Lucifer tracked him down, but beings from other realms tend to draw themselves to each other.

The Corinthian laughs. A chuckle filled with confusion and underlying malice. The Devil, attempting to arrest him.

Chloe couldn't help facepalming. Partially because of Lucifer's "Lucifer-ness" (for lack of a better term) and partially to cover her eyes. "You've had all morning to 'air dry,' Lucifer!"

Oh, she's mean. That's fine, mean is hardly a bother, though it does indicate that she doesn't know who he is, which is rare in of itself, especially among the supernatural clientele of his club. She's a vampire and he doesn't generally fuss about them, but her attitude is intriguing, though perhaps having the opposite effect that she wanted. "You must be new here," he says, his voice casual. "I'm Lucifer. This is my club. And you're a vampire, scoping out a meal, in my club. Tell me, are you always this charming or am I special?"

Oh so this was the alleged fallen angel. Consider her suddenly interested. Katherine had never seen an 'angel' and certainly only believed in the devil in the Klaus context so she was hard pressed to take any whispers from the supernatural world as reality.

Normally she'd be surprised he spotted she was a vampire, but she was hardly the only one in here, and the amount on her bar tab could have told anyone that knows anything about vampires that her still sober self was in fact, one of them.

"You're special." She offered an overly sweet smile.

"If you're here to give me the murder talk that's not how I work. I happen to be one of those smart vampires that understands you can feed and not kill the host like an idiot." Stefan excluded, it's not his fault.

"Your body count will not raise because of me, rest assured Lucy."

"Why hello there," Lucifer all but purred as he approached Katherine, having been eyeing her for some time. He didn't mind vampires, as a general rule, but murder was a definite no-no and while she hadn't done anything yet, it felt prudent to let any possible predator know there was someone with bigger teeth than even them - him. "I've been watching you. You're really very discrete, aren't you?"

Nothing says good vibes like a guy approaching with the opener 'ive been watching you. Already Katherine's brow is raised and she half done with this convo before it's really started.

But besides having a shitty opener he hasn't done anything that warrants writing him off completely..... yet.

Instead she takes a drink, letting him wait a moment, possibly think over how he started this, and then replied.

"A lot more discrete than you if you're trying to be a stalker. "

"You're not supposed to inform the girl you're stalking that you're watching her."

Just some helpful pointers to get him on his A game. She's nice like that.

"Can I assist you with something stalker? Me being discrete probably means I wasn't hoping for a conversation if that helps."

If you can't tell, she's had a rough day, don't take it personally. She might lighten up. Maybe.
