my dad used to sing Brown Eyed Girl to me while i was in my moms belly until i was about 5.
i've been assured it was atrocious to hear whether he was humming it to get me to sleep or wailing it loudly when he drove me around when it was just the two of us.
eventually i started singing it back to him, not realizing that he was indeed NOT a Brown Eyed Girl himself. :l
