... Baroque fashions are rarely seen for they are thought to be too loud, but Reitseg is no stranger to gold, spiraling patterns.
Every year, gala's and cocktail evenings, black tie events and multiple celebrations take place in Reitseg; in these time, formality is allowed to take a turn for the experimental.
This year, Headmistress Xiāo announced to the public that Reitseg's first event will be La Fête de Fusions; a gala celebrating the IWL's presence within the school. Fusions will be the first event in the history of Reitseg to allow people outside of RII students/staff/alums/invited guests to take part, allowing members of the IWL to join in the festivities. Additionally, IWL members can bring citizens from Fantôme as guests.
While the news is exciting, this reporter smells a desperate cry to appear normal...

La Fête de Fusions was announced yesterday to students and today, worldwide. Reitseg events are not only exclusive, but often in attendance by the greatest wixes in Wizarding news today-- thus why the public cares so greatly. The gala will in fact celebrate the arrival of the IWL in Reitseg, much to the distaste of students and staff in the school, but it is meant to keep all appeaances going. Students are expected to be on their best behavior and remember the vows they took upon entering the school.
Interaction for the gala will take place on Wednesday, July 15th, and will be roleplayable until Friday, July 17th. (All interaction relevant to the event will be regarded as all having taken place on the 15th.) Until then, the following provided are Themes for Discussion; each event in Reitseg will have these themes attached in order to provide additional inspiration in the days leading up to the beginning of the event.
There is a carpet enchanted to serve as a floating, solid runway that goes from outside the gates of the school to the entrance. Photographers, reporters, and paprazzi alike line the carpet from the areas outside the gates, all looking for the fashions of attendees. The theme of dress is 'baroque fashion'; the theme of the gala overall is merging. Until then, students have been urged to find designers to create outfits for the gala and if they don't have the means, to make the means; Reitseg will not have their students represent their gala out of style. Insider International is a Wizarding tabloid that covers everything from the elite schools in the world to the elite families. Over the week until the event, their reporters will be all around the city, harassing anyone they know is associated with Reitseg-- especially the students-- for information.
Every Reitseg event goes well enough, but there are often issues that occur throughout. Drama, murder, and mystery are always themes in the halls; it's a tradition for students to take bets on what will happen at every event. While rumours will form, The Spirit always has some sort of clue, so pay attention to her riddles and mini-tales over the next week.
More information regarding special tags for the event and other information for the night will follow leading up to the day of.
