1: What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?non-AU sh/uake. sorry folks. i can get behind it in really drastic au settings where none of the shit g.oro does happens (and im saying that as someone who loves him as a character) but in-canon it just...really does not make any sense to me at all how anyone could ship thati also dont really understand anyone/haru but thats mostly bc haru is barely even a character (as much as i wish she had better characterization bc her arc could have been really interesting.....they just sort of throw her into the game at the last minute. alas). shes very pretty cardboard outside of metaverse dialogue and even then....even then. ill be mad at her squandered potential forever but in the meantime she just sorta exists.(the one exception to this is peg/oryuha/ru and thats mostly bc of the pe/goryu part bc i am. a disaster)
5: Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?not particularly, its always more people misunderstanding characters and then slapping that into a pairing that irritates me but its not really a pairing-specific thing.(ig Kind of s/huak/e here but only bc there is just. so much bad shit even in au verse that im tired of. this doesnt apply at all to mutuals to be clear its all from random people on ao3 who i run into accidentally while looking for other content)23: Unpopular character you love?apparently ryuji is really unpopular?? which absolutely hurts my soul bc hes SO good??? he might be brash but he is just.......a very good boy who just wants to help his friends and even people he barely even knows. (i get people hating his later-game writing in parts bc BIG same but hes just. hes done so little wrong. why do people hate him so much i dont un de r s t a n d)
