Sarah looked up from the book she was reading, hearing someone else come into the the room. He was five or six minutes late for detention, but since the teacher hadn’t arrived yet she figured he was safe. Relaxing as much as she could in the hard desk chair, she didn’t bother even looking at him as she spoke. “So what’d you do?”

Hel had done her best to kick up a fuss, but for once her father wouldn’t budge. And quite obviously, she wasn’t happy with what was happening, the fact that she had no choice. She’d always thought that when the time came, her father would allow her to have a say in who she would be wed to.
But she had been wrong, and it had already been chosen for her.
Looking in her mirror, she brushed back a stray hair, before deciding it had been better where it was. Taking as long as she could, she adjusted the sleeves of her dress and the way her necklace sat. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath before straightening her back and lifting her chin.
She may have been going to meet the husband picked for her, but that didn’t mean she was going to act like an airhead. rejectedwxtch

The door opened, and suddenly the air felt wrong. Hecate had always been able to sense witches, part of the whole goddess of witchcraft thing, but this... this wasn’t right. She did her best to brush it off, wiping the herbs from her hands and stepping out of the back. No use greeting them any differently.
“Hello?” She asked, looking around until she spotted the boy. “What can I do for you?” rejectedwxtch

Vivianne arrived back at her home, and climbed down off her horse. She tossed the reins to her servant. “Take him back to the stable and feed him for me, will you? My mother has other work for me to attend to with Solomon.” She stated as she started heading towards the back door of her home. “Thank you, Vera.” She called over her shoulder. She could sense that there was another witch in the area all along, but she thought nothing of it. There were always witches in and around her home, as her mother and aunt were the leaders of the coven.

The laugh on her cheeks was quiet and harmonious and she tried not to make it obvious that she was tip-toeing around him. To be fair, she had no idea who he really was or where he'd come from, only what SHIELD had told her (which didn't do much to help her understand). At this point he could tell her he kills elephants and sells macaroni for a living and she would have no choice but to believe him and ask what type of macaroni. "My name is Justice, by the way. Justice Darla Clay. And you are?" The smile she fronted was almost genuine.

Hel flinched back instinctively, but that didn’t hide the fire in her eyes. He was going to hit me. He was actually going to hit me. She couldn’t believe it - she’d never have thought he’d try to hurt her. And then he had been moving to slap her, only stopping at the last minute.
“Get out.” She told him, voice shaking with anger. “Get out.”
