Yuri had seen the girl a few times, around here and there. Though normally he saw her when he’d grab a snack at the Crispy Biscuit. She was always smiling, looking cheerful. Admittedly, Yuri hadn’t been too friendly back, mostly because he was usually in a rush when he stopped there, but he didn’t exactly mean to be rude.
However, he was a bit surprised to see her walking into his building. He hadn’t ever seen her here before, though he also hadn’t made much of an attempt to get to know his neighbors. He was rarely home, between school and skating, he basically used the apartment as a good place to sleep, rather than as an actual place to live.
“Oi! You’re the girl from the Crispy Biscuit!” Yuri blurted out, following as she had begun to walk through the front door to the complex. He hadn’t meant to just blurt that out randomly but he had, and there was no going back now.
“I didn’t know you, uh, lived here?” he said awkwardly.
