Ace + Blue

Lee Taehyun (Blue) (99′) + Chinda Apibal (Ace) (98′)

Relationship name: Blue Ace

During early trainee days, Ace became friends with Mija thanks to their ages (98 liners), then also Blue became friends with Mija.

Both Taehyun and Chinda wanted to be friends with the other and they both told Mija about it. 

Chinda liked Taehyun's cuteness and she found her mysterious.

Taehyun thought how funny and energetic Chinda is.

Mija kind of brought them together by inviting them three to eat lunch together and similar things. Finally, they all got to practice togher due to them all being rappers and possible band mates.

When Mija got ill during trainee days, Taehyun and Chinda practiced rapping without her and that made them even closer.

When they didn't have anything to do, they both usually volunteered to clean the dorms to help their eonnies, but the eonnies always insisted on following the cleaning plan which was fair to all, so Blue Ace stopped volunteering. Later on, they both got very busy with writing songs, rapping, dancing and singing. Sometimes they were so tired that they fell asleep, so Lia and Dahee secretly took their shift, because they were both only vocals (and occasional dancers) and had less work to do.

They're both very complicated people with many sides of them, so their relationship is very complex too, they have many ways to act to each other.

For example they fight ironically and tease each other, but can switch to being extra nice, caring and cuddly in a matter of seconds.

They used to fight a lot when they were younger, it always begun with blaming each other, then they suddenly started laughing and said they were sorry. Now they're more mature, they don't blame others that often and they fight rarely.

Very honest with each other. They tell each other everything and they’re there for each other in the darkest of days.

They often act like little children when they're together, for example they once took a challenge that they'll walk with connected legs all day (except practice). In CE building, they met Bin Haneul (the CEO of Cloud Entertainment) on the stairs and fell in front of her. It was very embarrassing but she asked them if they were okay and warned them that they shouldn't do that because they'll get hurt. Then she laughed and stepped over them.

They understand the each other the most. If anything happens, Blue is the first person Ace goes to and vice versa.

They started calling each other soulmates the fourth year after debut.

They're the ultimate best friends of Butterfly.

Dahee + Ace

Gu Dahee (95′) + Chinda Apibal (Ace) (98′)

Relationship name: Dada

Both came to CE in 2014, Dahee in May and Chinda in August

They're the prank couple. They're most likely to team up against someone from the group and prepare a prank for them or simply annoy them. Dahee is more cautious  than Chinda, so she's usually the first to stop the fun and say that it's been enough. When Chinda overdoes it, people can sometimes get mad, but she quickly realizes her mistake and starts doing aegyo in order to settle things down. Dahee joins too and together they're too adorable not to forgive them.

They're the ones who do aegyo the most and they constantly fight over who's cuter for fun. Usually it ends with them both saying "We're the cutest together! The queens of cute!" Other members get annoyed/embarrassed and they do their best to show them how much, so they facepalm a lot.

Dada is basically the cutest and most annoying duo.

Their bickering is good for them both when they need to relieve stress.

They created their pair name themselves (DAhee + ChinDA) and they have their own aegyo way of saying "Dada"

Once their fun went like this:

C: "Unnie, did you know that dada means chest in Indonesian?"

D: "Really? That means we're the chest couple!"

C: "Hahaha yeah."

D: "Wait. You can't be in the chest couple."

C: "Why?"

D: "Your chest isn't big enough."

C: "UNNIE!! You wanna die???"

D: "Ok ok, I was just joking! Your chest is perfectly fine!"

C: "I think so."

Dahee usually doesn't joke about appearances because she is made fun of because of her weight (by antis). However, she couldn't resist this time. 

Chinda sometimes comes to Dahee for advice, because she's the oldest. Dahee is good at giving relationship advice and she can also make the members feel better about themselves.

When Chinda needs a hug, she sometimes goes to Dahee. She says that Dahee seems like a mother and is a really good older sister.

"Being with Chinda helps me stop thinking about heavy stuff. I feel like coming back to my childhood days," Dahee says

Dada is a kind of a moodmaker. When Butterfly needs to cheer up, Dada at least tries to make them feel better. They're a duo beneficial not only for themselves, but sometimes for others too.
