“I like hearing you say that.”

“You’re the most stubborn woman I’ve ever met, Kathryn,” he’d said. “And I’d give anything to be able to watch you stand here and deny it.”
I miss you.

Inspired by "The Eternal Tide" by Kirsten Beyer
I'm still holding on to everything that's dead and gone
I don't wanna say goodbye 'cause this one means forever
Now you're in the stars and six feet's never felt so far
Here I am alone between the heavens and the embers
Oh, it hurts so hard for a million different reasons
You took the best of my heart and left the rest in pieces
I know, the quality sucks, but I had a lot of fun and I tried something new. I know that I promised myself not to do novel-inspired drawings for a while, but this song gives me too many full circle vibes. 😂
This September I finished "To lose the earth", the latest book by Kirsten Beyer. Taken by melancholy, I looked for some fanfic that could fill the post-relaunch series void, and I came across the very talented @jellybeansarecool ‘s “Young Mr. Janeway” series. I immediately fell in love with the story and Pax, and I decided to pay trubute to the story with two illustrations of Pax with her parents. I can't wait to find out how "dancing in the dark", the last story of the series, will end!
