#relight help

So I felt the urge to finally play sims 4 after so long. I updated my game, updated my mods, all that. For some reason, my gshade wasn't working. I reinstalled and it finally shows up and almost all the shaders work except relight. It's installed and is there for me to select, but when I do nothing happens. The little circle to edit doesn't show up. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Hey! Sorry for being dumb, but I’ve downloaded the relight folder from your link and I was wondering if I need to put all the files in the shaders folder (the relight shader itself and all the shaders in the quint subfolder).

Because I did that and every shaders are showing in the gshade menu in game but not the relight one. For info, I’m using version 3.5. Do you know what the issue could be? Thank you for your help!

Not a dumb question at all! I just did some trouble shooting because I've had the same concern with a few other people and I had to see if i could replicate this because I wasn't have this issue. So don't remove anything from the subfolder. The relight and the subfolder both go into your shaders folder. The texture file into your textures. Don't remove anything from the folder and put it into the main shaders folder, don't put the relight in the shaders subfolder. It will not show up for both of this errors.

hey, thank you so so much for the relight dl. i've been having some trouble and I was wondering if you could help. when I put all the files into the shaders for reshade and run my game it says failed to compile and it's red saying that the preprocessor failed to open some of the quint files. i've tried leaving them in the folder and even taking them out just putting them in the shaders individually but they still show up red. thank you so much for any help!

It could be the version of reshade your using but putting the files that are in the shader folder that are in the qUINT folder into the shader folder will give you that error because they need to be kept in the qUINT folder with nothing added in it removed. Keep the actual shader outside of that folder and just place it into shader folder! I hope this helps!
