"Do you think we're soulmates in every universe?" Remus asked, holding Remy close to himself as they laid in bed late at night.

It took a moment for Remy to respond, half asleep primarily, but he was also thinking. Were they?

Remy thought of different worlds, ones as boring as this one, to ones where dragons ruled. He saw himself as a princess and Remus his knight, then as gods, as peasents, as animals, as enemies. Only in universes where they did not exist, did Remy not think of them as soulmates.

"Its one am, go to bed." Remy finally answered.

Remus grinned and gave his boyfriend a squeeze. "Love you too."
