1915 "Bust of the American" by LEON INDENBAUM 1890-1981
This Russian sculptor naturalized French born in Belarus, arrived in Paris in 1911 where he hosted Soutine and Modigliani in his workshop of "La Ruche".
In 1915 in his Montparnasse studio in Paris, he sculpted this bust of "the American", nickname of his friend the animal sculptor Rembrandt Bugatti.
