i was tagged by the wonderful @three-drink-amy
i haven't written much in the last... forever... but i wrote this short passage for chapter six of remember when we felt like the only two alive (chapter coming... eventually)
Nothing makes sense, however somewhere far in the deepest parts of his mind, everything makes sense. Parts of his mind he never paid any attention to. It all felt so insignificant before. So normal that he brushed it off, like how in high school he would stare a moment too long at the way Liam looked after a winning game - bright and flushed. Or how he felt he understood Rafael Luna on a deeper level than just being a Latino kid trying to make it in American politics. Or how nothing felt more satisfying than getting under Henry’s nerves when they hated each other but nothing had ever felt as comforting as listening to his voice after his parent’s argument on Christmas.
But none of that matters. He’s got more important things to figure out.
i'm tagging @juxtaposed-variety @soshesighs and quite literally anyone else who writes to do this. i suck at tagging people
