The fourth of July has a different meaning to a lot of people, but today's a friend of mine's birthday. He's 21. His name is Xander, but he goes by "Red".
The image in this post is his Tumblr avatar, because I'm pretty sure he'd call me a gigantic dumb gay faggot just for making this dumb gushy post, and he would highly approve of me using a picture of Red from Pokemon instead of a picture of the biggest faggot on the planet (him, obviously. His URL was redthefaggot for fuck's sake).
He's not here with us to celebrate, as he took his own life back at the end of March after living through things that would leave you shaking.
But that's not why I'm making this post. I'm making this post because today is the day he was brought into this world to begin with, and I'm glad to have known him. It was a privilege to be one of the few people he really, honestly loved, and I wish the whole world could know just the kind of spectacular person he was.
I wish I could tell all of you exactly the kind of person he was and how just talking to him online made me feel amazing, but to summarize my feelings as I would say to him:
LKGJDKSL JGKDXLJ Dkfdgjkhskfdoh my god whatandmazing faggot dfkjghjdfksghjdslfgsdfRed you are seriously the most amazing person ever ok >:|
It makes me sad to think that not very many people knew him, because he was one of the best people you could know. I told everyone this long before his death and I'll tell everyone this now. He's one of my favorite people and the world's not the same without him.
While you may not have gotten a chance to know him, I was wondering if people would mind reblogging this not so more people know he's gone, but so more people know he was here in the first place.
A friend of mine made a post about him, and you can go through my tag for him to get an idea of the kind of person he was.
