It was a pleasant day at Beacon.

The sun was shining down, though there was a brisk wind which made sure that things wouldn’t get too hot.Neptune sat under a tree on the grounds. He was studying, since being away from his own school did not exempt him from schoolwork. Sun wasn’t doing anything, per usual. In fact, Neptune didn’t even know where he was. He guessed he was with Blake, or stealing something. That was pretty much the norm at this point.  

However, when he was reading up on dust infusion, something hard hit him on the back of the neck. He looked around, but the grounds were empty. He frowned, and turned back to his work. 

Bang!

Something hit him again and Neptune was sure it had came from above him. He sprang up, looking into the tree to jump back as none other than Sun dropped down from the tree, hanging by his tail.

“Miss me?” He smiled devilishly, and Neptune could only splutter.

“How- how long have you been up there?”

“Not long. You study hardcore, man.”

“Ugh.” Neptune rolled his eyes at Sun. “Well, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll get back to studying-”

“Boop!” Sun booped Neptune on the nose, cutting him off. Neptune grinned at the gesture.

“And you call me a nerd.” He sighed, before leaning forwards and kissing his partner.
