It was hard not to admire Coco. She was strong, confident, super stylish, and a bunch of other things that would make the list far too long. Ruby looked up to her, despite being a bit awkward around someone so cool. And now!! The coolest girl at Beacon was complimenting her! On her cloak! Her most precious item!
Giving her a grin in return, Ruby grabbed the inside edging of her cloak and pulled her arms wide to allow the fabric to spread as magnificently as possible. “You really think so!? Thanks Coco! It was actually a gift from my mom!” The pride in her voice was incredibly clear, the happiness she felt from her cloak being complimented absolutely radiating from her.
