Actual pictures from Miku Expo (that also had a snap filter!). I’d only found out there was going to be one in DC the day before so I had no intention of going, but friends contacted me about it and let me tag along! It’s been a pretty shitty summer and I’ve been going through a lot, but I dropped the $60 for the ticket on the spot and it was one of the best spontaneous spends I’ve ever made. It was so wonderful and magical, and it was something I really needed. I’ve been a vocaloid fan since 2008 (about a decade!) and I honestly never thought I’d ever get to see them in concert. A longtime dream come true, being able to hear some old classics and newer favorites live (luckily I was able to recognize about half of the songs in all), with her dancing on stage. All in the company of wonderful, special friends. It meant the world to me and I couldn’t be more thankful. ☆ 7/12/18 . . Here are some videos I took of my favorites during the performance; Meltdown, Remote Control (Remocon), Gemini, World is Mine, and Tell Your World. There were more (like Senbonzakura and 8-hit) but there’s too much to put up. Kaito, Meiko and Luka also sang but some I didn’t recognize and others I wasn’t as much a fan of.
