I'd like a blouse with detachable sleeves, and was trying to chose between Bodyline's L484 (probably in black as I feel like the stripes would be hard to put together with something) or L505. Right now I only wear classic lolita, and I feel like L505 is the better choice, but I'm having trouble deciding.
I'm pretty sure the bow on L484 is detachable so I don't think you would have to worry about the stripes, I think it's the black buttons and ribbon that would limit you though because they look a little out of place without other black in a coord (although they could both be swapped out with something that works better if you took that route.) I think the overall style of 505 would be more Classic, but the quality doesn't look as good, especially the quality of the lace. I would say to go with 484. It's a little on the Sweet side, but with the right accessories and overall coord it could work into Classic quite easily.
But don't you think detatchable sleeves look a little bit silly?
Not really. I mean, they do look better in some styles than others. I think they tend to look the best with Sweet Lolita because they have that extra little bit of frills that tends to work very easily into it, but if done well they can work into any style. In case you’re mistaken, I mean detachable, not detached. This bolero for example has detachable sleeves (even if that’s not what they have it labeled as). It looks like it has long sleeves but they can be removed and made into short sleeves. This top has detached sleeves which leave a gap between the top and bottom. Something like that tends to look silly and definitely not Lolita.
Is it worth it to add detatchable sleeves to a blouse? I'm ordering from anna house and they will do it for an extra charge. I don't own any blouses yet.
I would say go for it. For the blouse I’m looking at it says detachable sleeves are $13 so it’s sort of like getting a second blouse for that price since you’ll now be able to use it as both a long and short sleeved blouse.
The sleeves on the l160 bodyline blouse are removable yes? Just asking to make sure before I buy. Thank you lovelly princess :) x
Yes, they are removable.

Can you point me towards anywhere that sells OPs and blouses with removable sleeves? I can't seem to find any no matter how hard I look!!!
Bodyline sells a few items with removable sleeves. There are actually quite a few around various brands, it just isn't always listed when they talk about the item. Most of the time though (but not always), when you see something where the sleeves are like this, that means they are removable.
