Where: florish and blotts Who: @its-remuslupin
Alice stood in the narrow, shadowed aisle near the back of Flourish and Blotts, the familiar smell of old paper and leather binding temporarily dulling the constant edge of anxiety in her chest. The shop was quiet, the heavy oak shelves muffled the muffled sounds of Diagon Alley outside. She pulled a thick, cloth-bound volume from a shelf, the spine cracking softly as she opened it to flip through pages of defensive theory.
She glanced up through the gap in the books, her expression softening with a small, genuine smile as she looked at Remus. "I forgot how normal this feels," she says. "Just standing here, looking at ink on paper instead of checking over my shoulder every five seconds, that is."
Alice turned a page, her eyes scanning a diagram before looking back at him. "Frank asked me to find a specific text on shielding charms, but I've already forgotten the author's name. You wouldn't happen to know where they keep the advanced counter-jinx section these days, would you?"
