Starstruck → Carter & Remington
One of the last people Carter thought he would meet over this 'casual dating site' was Remington Blake. He admittedly watched The Food Network on a daily basis, and for a few years already he'd had the pleasure of watching Remy on Top Chef, and it was safe to say that he was a fan, had been for a while now. He'd gone to Stella only one time since it opened, and he loved the food, but he didn't have the luxury of eating here as often as he wanted. Most of his paycheck went to things he needed and food that wasn't as... pricey, he was able to live a comfortable lifestyle, not a luxurious one which was pretty okay with him. He was content with his lifestyle, and he hadn't been exposed to the higher standard of living until meeting guys over iHookup. Like Remy, example. Even though it was almost too hard to believe that Remington Blake was interested in him, when he was asked to meet him at Stella, the last thing he was going to say was no.
He was told to meet Remy at seven, so Carter was on his way at six-thirty. There was definitely no denying that he was eager to meet the older man, for more reasons than just one. Not only because he was one of his favorite chefs, but also because he had the opportunity to hook up with such a sexy man, and the bit of a hint he was given was more than enough material for Carter to use when he laid in his bed later in the night.
Parking was easily found and by the time he got to the front doors of Stella's, it was almost seven on the dot. He was greeted by a beautiful woman, the hostess, he assumed. She asked him for a name, probably because there was a shit ton of reservations people had made that had them all booked. At least Carter thought it was safe to assume. "Actually, I'm uh- I'm here to see Remington. Blake, that is. Remington Blake." He offered a polite smile after and moving off to the side when he was told that she would let Remy know that he was there. In the mean time, Carter stuffed his hands in his pockets and let his eyes wonder over the absolutely gorgeous interior design of the restaurant.
