Guess I should comment on the recent chaos that is EME
This used to be a tera based blog so it only feels right to make a final post about it as it dies off. Sadly I saw something like this coming much faster than some of my friends, especially with the addition of XIGN-code and what not. People expected the game to last and continue in NA. I saw the steady downhill this game had taken, not only in my own server, but overall.
I originally started playing this game a little over a year now. The communities I had been apart of ranged from very small groups of casual players, to larger guilds with a purpose, and eventually top guilds on my home server. This game does in fact hold a place in my heart.
To see NA Tera more or less spark and begin to fizzle out with the server merge followed by DMCA takedowns of proxy, I do feel sad. However this event does little but reinforce my decision to quit Tera that I made a few months ago.
At the end of the day, thank you to those who I have interacted with in Tera on TR, MT, FF, CH and AV. Thank you to the ones making the game enjoyable and feel like a community I was truly a part of. Sad to see it go but this is definitely a closed chapter for me in terms of gaming. I hope all that move to EU feel at home there and are able to continue that community. ❤️
