Rena checked the time on her phone for the second time in apprehension. Her friend had not arrived yet. As someone who liked to plan, things were not really going according to her this time. Lateness had never been her things, needless to say, she was sure the other had her reason. It was actually their first meeting after few months and months, only kept touch in Line.
Rena scanned again the street in search of a familiar face. Despite the fact that it was already past 9PM, people were few and far between. Rationally, less people went out on a week evening, which is fine for her.
Rena had always wanting to try the food here, this restaurant which was located in an isolated street of Hokaido. Truthfully, Rena preferred to spend an evening with acquintances in a quiet, simple place, away from prying eyes.
No matter how boring it become and how empty but for some reason you still feel chained up.
