The barracks really were a long, dwindling maze, in the end. Even though she had others to lead her to where she needed to be, Orihime couldn’t help but think the walk was a bit too long for her liking. The healer was glad that they were patient with her - taking clear note in the fact that she was human, even if she didn’t complain. Though, she wasn’t particularly sure if they were concerned for her, or just wanted her in and out as soon as possible. Either way, Orihime kept her mouth shut tight, keeping her questions to herself.
She was informed of what she would be doing awhile ago - she’d been a bit surprised to know she was given the green-light to do something like this. Maybe it was because Abarai-kun was so dedicated, he wasn’t the one to let things go so easily. The redhead kept her gaze straight ahead, watching as the Shinigami opened the door for her and let her inside.
She smiled, nodding once in thanks, “Thank you!” Orihime practically chirped, closing the door behind her and stepping fully into the room. The healer waited for about two or three minutes before opening the door to the next room. In the far corner, she caught sight of a tall figure, back to her, “Ah! Um...” She trailed off as his attention was caught, directed right at her now, “Sorry...are you busy, I can come back...”
“Abarai-kun asked me to...well, to help, I guess...”
