I made up some more images for the #RenewBlueBook campaign, which you are free to grab and share anywhere. So far, no word from History Channel or A&E on a PROJECT BLUE BOOK  third season renewal. You’d think with UFO and #AliensExist all over Twitter the other day (with release of Navy UFO footage) they’d just re-up HyneQuinn, but who knows? The COVID-19 pandemic sure hasn’t helped any.

Project Blue Book “Operation Mainbrace”

Did a 4-panel of my favorite scene from the episode, right before Quinn goes off to meet his doom. No, no, not his doom. He’s stuck in Antarctica with penguins while Hynek and Willian/Unseen ride off to the rescue and where the heck is the season 3 renewal? Gah….

A bunch of Project Blue Book fan art

I loved how the Generals referred to HyneQuinn as ‘pawns’ in “Hopkinsville,” and that quote always stuck with me, so I turned the guys into pawns. I had grand ideas for doing that, but my ideas are a lot better than my photo manip skills ;)

Then, found the ‘shiny sparkly’ photo filter and had to try it out on the guys, as well as a birthday bubble motif since Aidan Gillen’s birthday was recent. Didn’t quite turn out like I wanted it but it was so pretty I couldn't erase it. ;)

Lastly, added the ‘southern lights’ and Quinn to the final scene from “Operation Mainbrace” and won’t say what it’s about in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Project Blue Book fan art

Nothing else to do today, so fiddled with fan art. I’m participating in the #PBB15DayChallenge over at Twitter (search hashtag #RenewBlueBook) and after doing that, starting futzing with filters. I ADORE the smirk Hynek made as he sat in the back seat of the car with Unseen in “Men in Black.” I mean, that smirk is like Hynek is the kid in “Ransom of Red Chief.” Then I decided to photomanip guest stars I liked. I’ll circle back to HyneQuinn shortly :)

Because I had too much spare time

Was windy and cold outside yesterday, stuck indoors with self-isolating due to #coronavirus stuff, plotting grocery shopping as though I’m going out for combat in enemy territory. So instead, I made that ‘where in the world is Captain Quinn?’ type Waldo fun. Yup, Quinn IS in there amongst the penguins (since he’s stuck in the Antarctic).

Project Blue Book, season 3

The ending of season 2 was followed by a scream of NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! cuz although I know my guys are alive, and I know the lost one WILL be rescued but we’re all still waiting for History/A&E to announce  a season 3. Last year the renewal came within a month of premiere episode. Now, crickets. Of course, ratings were down, and then there’s the coronavirus mess that has virtually shut down Vancouver film production. Although there’s no cancellation notice, and people are ‘sure, it’s gonna get renewed’, some of us figure it cannot hurt one bit to let History know we want it. I mean, I need HyneQuinn back on the airwaves. We can’t have it left like THAT.
