That would also work for me. XD the fucked up thing is that, back when the housing bubble burst, it would have been less expensive for the government to pay off every remaining mortgage in the US than it was to bail out the banks. I think that would have done a hell of a lot more for the economy than raising the minimum wage.

I am white and I love anime :(
I think it's more about the way anime is discriminated against by art school professors specifically. I ran into a HUGE wall at the Art Institute because 90% of instructors wouldn't accept anime-style art. I went to school 10 years ago, but I still hear about this happening all the time. The fact that they're *still* not willing to acknowledge that anime comes in various styles and quality is total BS.
What the original poster points out is that that point of view is also pretty damned racist, since they're lumping it all together based on its country of origin rather than judging each movie or series or even studio based on their merits.
