I DIDN'T KNOW YOU LIKED EO AND TWEWY YOU ARE SO BASED FOR THAT

Oh dude TWEWY was my LIFE between like 2009 and 2018. It's consistently stayed as my #1 favorite videogame and one of my biggest special interests for most of my life at this point! I fucking love it aaaa I should get around to doing that translation comparison project hmm

EO I played a ton of between uhhh 2014 and 2017ish? It and Disgaea are 100% the only reasons I stayed sane in the 2 years between between dropping out of hs and starting uni; I struggled a little getting into the more anime-y plot of the last couple games though ^^; Atlus made great JRPGs

It kinda sucks bc, like, both of those games had super creative mechanics that only really work on the DS, and the dual screens + touchscreen "gimmick" is probably never coming back, so the TWEWY sequel's battle system was less cool and we're probably never getting another Etrian game :c

TWEWY's battle system is fascinating and probably the best example of reinforcing story themes through gameplay mechanics I've ever seen, but it's impossible to implement it properly without some sort of dual-screen setup; and while you could make a game where map-drawing is as important as in EO, now you'd either force players to draw with the mouse (or even worse: an awkward controller UI) or make them draw their own maps on paper and just give up on integrating map-drawing with gameplay as well as EO did :c

what their bedroom looks like: messy, there’s a bunch of random stuff all over the place and his bed isn’t really neat.

their eating habits: they eat a lot... they get a lot of snacks throughout the day, they bring a lot into the dungeons. they don’t eat that much of a dinner bc they aren’t super hungry then.
