It's interesting how this is one of the only series where the option to change back to their old gender is an option given to them. Renoa however isn't happier as a man and makes the decision by herself, which is clearly trans coded.
Trans women are harassed for not being real from those who struggle to empathise with others situations, however you also suffer from misogyny by others who only look at things on a surface level.
