First drive/wash since Thunderhill in Sept. 2020. Been hoarding some pieces that started going on at 2am, so going through the car today on breaks. Insane hot temps today at the track. My #E30M3 def stood out w all the younger siblings, tons of potential with how its setup. The @falkentire RT660’s were very impressive with their consistency lap after lap despite the 100+ temps. 🙏🏼 Had no trouble keeping up w a few Z06’s, Camaro 1LE, GT3, even a #Spoon #S2k w full aero. Def trying to keep this beauty off the outter edge of the bumper on corner exit like I’m use to, and out of the dirt. Unfortunately, the #RenownJTCC #CD5 #Accord was plagued w axle issues right from the first session. But still made it home under its own power and a quick parts run to Chico, luckily there’s so much crossover w old #Honda’s. #Retro Touring Car Battles from a few weeks ago at #Thunderhill between our #BudgetBTCC #E36 and #H22 #RenownJTCC #Accord. Had a great first #session, tons of room for improvement. What is even more of an accomplishment is we haven’t even gone past $4k each, including the cars! Lots of recycling of parts from other projects, and support from a few choice sponsors.
