I’m sure you’ve talked about it before, but I must’ve missed it- what are the biggest differences between Aelynn and Aelyne? Are their names pronounced differently?

Their names are pronounced the same! In fact, technically their names SHOULD be exactly the same but I changed Aelyne's to differentiate her AU self from her primary self. (And Rennra to Renrra.)

Aelyne was still taken by the Suits Carnival and separated from Renrra as children, but Renrra managed to remember the name and when he was adopted by the fleet, the one who adopted him, Vice Admiral Abillord Elsin, was able to track them down and take Aelyne back.

Both were then raised together in the fleet, and even once Abillord was killed in action, they both stayed, despite gaining a lot of mistrust in the system. Renrra's differences are definitely more subtle but he was a lot better off with Aelyne around for his childhood.
