this is honestly a personal ick I have with editblr currently as a black person. WHITEWASHING is the only issue in terms of editing. Not purplewashing, not pinkwashing, etc. those do not exist in the context of poc and skintone as they are linked to OTHER political issues.

If a psd makes a darkskin character another color but the tone is still around the same range as the og , that is FINE. That is not whitewashing or anything else bc its not erasing anything about them. It's just how colors work.

using my own art with a random gradient map as an example. THIS IS JUST HOW COLORS AND FILTERS WORK. Other black people / poc are allowed to disagree with this. Personally for ME , its not that big of it an issue.
