So it’s been a while since I’ve actually posted anything properly on this blog. Sorry about the gigantic lack of book reviews and recommendations. It’s just been my first month at uni and I’ve been adjusting. It’s crazy busy!  

I’m not 100% sure how regular blogging will be, but I’ll try my best to get some reviews up soon!

Hey everyone - so after much deliberation, I've decided to decrease my reading goal of this year down to 100 books. In the beginning of the year, I decided that I was finally going to push myself to read 125 books, something I haven't done since 2012. I easily make it past 100 every year, but I've never gone past 125.

But setting my reading goal so high has been stressing me out a little, and it's put me into a reading slump. The majority of things I've read so far have just been novellas. 

 I've realized that for me, quantity doesn't matter anymore. Setting a reading goal makes feel like I can't read longer books and forces me to read books. I'm pushing away from books I really want to read, and I don't want to do that anymore. This year, I'm aiming to read more classics (simply because I want to) and some other longer novels (including ASOIF, 1Q84, and The Secret History). 

In a year where I'm starting college, running The 2015 Book Genre Challenge, and navigating life in general, I want to read books because I want to. Not because I feel forced to. 

So basically, I'm going back to my usual goal of 100 books simply because I want to challenge myself to tackle some books that have been on my TBR for a long time! 

Finally, I'm a firm believer in the fact that everyone has a different pace and a different goal. It doesn't matter whether you read 5 books, or 500. It doesn't matter what books you read either - from manga, to historical fiction, to romance to classics. It doesn't matter, as long as you love it!

Hey guess what? I just came from a trip visiting colleges. So that's why I've been such a horribly absent (mobile) blogger! Anyway, let me just update you:

I am trying to become an official participant of the treesofreverie Read-A-Thon! (But I haven't been confirmed yet)

I will be running my own Classics challenge for my July Genre Challenge! 

No, I have not yet posted my recommendations for the genre challenge. (Bad blogger)

I started reading Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton - but I am not really loving it yet.

I started reading Love & Misadventure by Lang Leave - which I am enjoying much more.

hi there, so I'm super bored and I've just been asking the people I follow some random questions to get to know them better… i hope you don't mind (you don't have to answer them haha) anyways, how's your day been so far? what are your plans for tomorrow? are you doing anything interesting this week? how's school? do you know what you want to be after high school? sorry but i think it's fun to get to know people!

My day has been…okay….I had this really awful physics test today. But oh well. I saw Divergent yesterday, which was great. Tomorrow? Just homework (glamorous I know). This week or the upcoming week? Wow not really. It’s getting close to exams in school so basically I am leading the most boring life possible. School stinks but thanks for asking. After school? Something in science (biology) or english…I’m very torn. 

That was fun! Thanks for asking! Basically I do nothing but homework and reading hahaha. I’d like to get to know my followers better too! <3

Hola you guys! I just managed to get some real wifi here! I'm in Madrid right now which is gorgeous and I've already been to Paris and London! Europe is amazing and I'm loving every second! I have tons of exciting pics and stories! But I also really miss you guys and can't wait to return to actual internet connection! Free wifi is actually difficult to obtain. I'll tell you all about it in detail when I return, but for now, my queue should suffice! (Haven't read anything either oops too busy haha) Happy Reading to everyone, I'll be back for real soon! -R

So hey I'm just going to say a few things. So basically I'll be touring Europe for 10 days starting Tuesday and I won't really be on tumblr. I've set up a massive queue that hopefully won't run out (I did some calculations lol) but I won't really be active. I'll try to get internet connection as often as possible to answer questions and things, but I will probably be too busy. Enjoy my queue and have a great February break!
