Sticking all of the illustrations of my Renwyrm characters on one post since they look good together. I’m also thinking about sticking these up as prints since they came out pretty good.
Top to bottom: Pruina, Pestis, Morsus.

Sticking all of the illustrations of my Renwyrm characters on one post since they look good together. I’m also thinking about sticking these up as prints since they came out pretty good.

One last Renwyrm illustration for Smaugust. This one features Pestis, which I used as a sort of prototype for Renwyrms for ages before making Pruina and Morsus.
I’ve been wanting to do some stuff regarding my Renwyrms, and also it happened to line up well with smaugust.
So here’s a little something that came from a doodle that went a bit out of hand featuring Pruina.
I’ve been meaning to revisit Pestis’ “siblings”, since for a long while they were just sort of side characters for him to brawl with, and did not have much personality to their designs on their own.
This is mostly a start to see where I wanted to go with Pruina, she has some new scars on her face, but she has her old palette, which I’m considering tweaking a little.
I decided to make a little #smaugust series with my renwyrm characters after doing the one with Pruina.
There’s some detail shots stuck in there too for those that want to see the inking a little more closely.
I made another drawing of Pruina today, she’s been fun to mess around with and explore her design more. Also I think I’m getting the hang of the inking brush I’ve been using for her since the first revisit, its been easier to keep the lines consistent.
I recently did some work to figure out a new set of options for commissions, centering around letting clients be able to choose what brush type they might want for their order. Since I had been interested in having a little more variety in ink styles instead of using the same brush over and over I thought maybe a client may want other options too.
Either way, we’ll see if this actually gets any interest or not, people already voted in favor of it on twitter so its part of the options now.
I had not drawn any Rewnyrms in a long while and decided to do something with Pruina and Morsus this time around.
Renwyrms tend to establish a pecking order between each other through shows of brute force and bullying others into submission.
