In pursuit of the iPad 3 LCD
This is some pretty amazing stuff. It's pretty cool to see the LCD reused in this way!

I told a Yuriy and we got really excited! When we saw this, we went to EBay and bought ourselves some LCDs!
Now that I'm finally writing this up, we'd love to link you back to the original articles. I never knew, but my friend came across the LCD on another site, so there are now two groups! The two groups are Andrzej and Mike - so Yuriy and I got together and tried our hand at our own board!
We definitely didn't like the concept of splicing a wire in, so Yuriy was awesome enough to design it with a microdisplay port. Here's the board render...
We sent it off to OSHPark and recently got it back...
